Blogging can be a great way to showcase your jewelry while educating the buyer about the many aspects of vintage jewelry..here are some ways a blogger from the Etsy forums has found to spread the your blog posts to a greater community....

I've been trying out blogging communities for a while as a way to bring people to my shop and gain interest in my own blog.
I have most recently signed up momblognetwork.com - same general concept as blogher but for moms - and zimbio.com Both of these communities pull your posts directly from your blog. Momblognetwork requires nothing else on your part though if you promote yourself there there's a better chance of being featured. Zimbio also pulls your articles direct from your blog, but you do need to go in and publish them from your queue into the correct zine category.
The two I've used the longest are kaboodle.com and blogher.comKaboodle does take some time to gain traction as you need to build a network. Blogher however doesn't require anything on your part other than to post an article. I can easily get a 100 views to one article without it even being featured on blogher.
